About
What we believe
We confess the historic Christian faith — the faith of the Scriptures, summarized in the ecumenical creeds and in the Reformed confessions: the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Three Forms of Unity (the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort).
In practice that means worship shaped by Scripture: psalms and hymns sung by the congregation, expository preaching, prayer, and — when weekly worship begins — the ordinary means of grace at the center of our life together.
Who we are
The plant is led by families of Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church gathering in northwest St. Louis, working toward regular Lord's Day worship in the St. Louis / St. Charles County area. We are a core group, not yet a congregation — this site will say so plainly until that changes.
Providence Church Plant is sponsored by Providence Reformed Presbyterian Church of St. Louis and networked through the CREC HotSpot Project.
Come and see. The next Psalm Sing is the best introduction.
